Thanks for your candor, Steven. I, too, am an artist, and I'm also a raging researcher for capital-t Truth, so I well comprehend your plight!

I will definitely purchase your book. I very much look forward to reading it!

What a pleasure to read this post man. Thank you for the courage to say what is in your heart and on your mind - I can relate to the debacle there myself fully and I am excited to read your book and learn more about what you think about things!

I am sorry too, I have been struggling with authenticity too. With allowing fear to stop me from expressing exactly who I am.

Firstly, for me, who you are is indivisible from the music you make - hedflux is infused with all you are and that matters. Secondly, there's no shame in not wanting to contribute to the online drama - in fact, it's smart, and at the same time, I relate to your dilemma. At a ceramics class recently, everyone EVERYONE was saying how parents who didn't give their kids v@cks were criminal. I've never v@cked my now grown up kids but I didn't say anything. Part of me wished I'd had the courage and spoken up; another part knew it was probably wise to protect the space I otherwise very much enjoy. If someone had asked me directly, I would have been honest, but I doubt anything I said would have made a difference. It makes sense to speak where you'll be received. Great news about the book!

Can't wait to read the book Steve. You're such an honest, courageous and determined man and certainly a light in the darkness, a light worth following.
